Brown: The best ‘all-round’ tint. This is a high contrast lens, providing the best vision over a wide range of lighting conditions – from a cloudless blue sky to heavy cloud cover. It also removes virtually all horizontal glare, offering excellent penetration when looking into water. (The pictures below clearly show the effects of the polarised lenses.
Yellow is ultra high contrast and suitable for use in very low levels of light, such as at dusk or early dawn – or in very heavy cloud cover. Orange, is exceptionally good for shooting orange clays or against a crowded woodland background. Grey is ideal for high levels of light such as in Australia or Africa. Green is a general purpose lens but is especially good for tennis players
Polarised lenses are also available with bifocal, varifocal, non prescription and single vision options.

These are high definition lenses which are perfectly clear in low light conditions but darken rapidly in bright sunlight. Photochromic lenses are also made with an anti-reflective and scratch resistant coat.This makes them the perfect choice for a wide range of sports, from off road cycling and running, to bowls (our bowls frames come fitted with photochromic lenses as standard, enabling you to play indoor and outdoor bowls with ease). Photochromic lenses are also available with bifocal, varifocal, non prescription and single vision options. Our photochromic lenses use Transitions' optical technology - as advertised on TV.

In its ‘low light’ state, the Ultra 2000 (Drivewear®) lens has an olive green tint. This is designed specifically for lighting conditions where a normal lens would struggle – perfect for fishing at dawn or dusk. As the light increases, the lens will darken to a deep brown giving you the perfect degree of glare-free vision. The Ultra 2000 (Drivewear®) lens also has 100% U.V. protection, superb impact resistance giving excellent physical protection and is scratch resistant and water repellent. Single vision, varifocal and non prescription options available.
The Extreme lens is designed to be used where your existing tinted lenses start to struggle and has been specifically developed to enhance light at very low illumination levels so is perfect for fishing at dawn or dusk. Currently available in non prescription and single vision only.
